ATC enthusiasts know the value of original parts to their frame-up restoration project as well as any basic engine repair. Obviously Honda has pulled back the reigns on some of the older OEM parts. We only have access to the 1986 model years here.

They do however stock many of the popular replaceable parts for other model years. They are Honda friendly and the 1986 ATC250R fiche is easy to read even from a phone. You select your required parts from Honda fiche. These are essentially the same diagrams used by your local dealer at the parts counter.

About ATC 250R Parts

the Honda ATC250R machineYou can also save on sales tax on larger items depending on the state you reside. Honda ATC250R parts aren't always cheap, so every little bit helps.

For now, many OEM parts for the 1985 and 1986 models are still available (Check for OEM Parts).

Some out of production items can be located on ebay, including used parts, old magazines, accessories, and complete trikes. If you've got time to shop for parts and other goodies, it is highly recommended especially for the oldest models like the 81, 82, 83, and 84. If the parts aren't listed currently, you can set up your account to email you when (or if) they get listed.

This is a priceless feature especially if you're doing a frame-up restoration. (Check eBay)

It has actually been about 30 years since the ATC250R was officially removed from the Honda roster. This was, of course, due to safety concerns, which turned out to be unfounded.

The safety concerns regarding 3 wheelers resulted in Congress issuing a ten year ban on the manufacture and sales of three wheeler off-road vehicles.

Although the ban has actually lapsed, the likelihood of new off-road three wheelers ever going back into production is nill. The 250R trike is gone, but definitely not forgotten.

Through continued sales of OEM Honda parts as well as a host of aftermarket parts, these 250cc beasts continue to tackle the track and trail almost three decades after Honda ceased production.

I have listed the biggest and best suppliers of Honda ATC250R parts for your convenience. Checking the box below will enable the website to open in a new window (you may need to know this if you've got some type of pop-up blocker enabled). Some people prefer to open new tabs or windows for price comparison purposes.

I think it is easier, but it is entirely up to you. Good luck, and ride on...

250R Authorized Dealers

As a footnote, authorized Honda dealers offer online access to parts and the latest Honda news and information, both and are worth a read if you've got some time.

If you are looking for more general information on three wheelers in general, there are numerous three wheeler websites listed at the DMOZ.

And if you are of these Honda fanatics that just can't get enough of these ATC's, check out the official Honda timeline on their site. It is the official, fact filled history of models and it is pretty interesting if I do say so myself.

The most frequently purchased parts are fenders, brake pads, rims, throttle cables, sticker kits, and oil seals. I have also listed some other 250R parts here. Some of the suppliers are the same as here, but it may be worth a look anyway. Keep Ridin'...
